Meet the Team: Michael Brixner

Michael Brixner is a lifelong Seattleite. For Michael, customer service is the top priority and he strives to bring the highest value and best customer experience to his tenants. He has been with Martin Selig Real Estate since 2014.

Real estate is a family business for Michael, as his father Mike Brixner, has been with Martin Selig Real Estate for over 30 years. As Michael has seen Seattle grow and change, he decided to pursue real estate as a career. He worked for a global real estate firm for three years and when an opening became available with Martin Selig, he jumped at the opportunity.

Tenants come first

Through his commitment to customer service, Michael’s goal is to always have happy tenants. Because Martin Selig directly employs all building operations personnel, he says, they are able to respond quickly to tenants’ needs and requests. This structure makes operations more efficient and enables him to build long term relationships with tenants.

Michael loves working at Martin Selig Real Estate because though it’s a hugely successful commercial real estate operation, it still feels like a mom and pop shop. Being the new guy on the team, he says he benefits from mentorship from his team members who have been in the industry for decades. His goals for the company moving forward are to continue to deliver the best service to his tenants and to continue Martin’s vision of the Seattle skyline.

Outside Martin Selig Real Estate

Michael’s favorite properties within the portfolio are 3131 Elliott and 4th and Blanchard, because those buildings have unique architecture as well as views of the waterfront and The Olympic Sculpture Park.  He’s known to make the most of the summer months by hiking, golfing and playing softball, hit the slopes in the winter and loves to travel when he can.
