Ten Feet Into the Future

“Ten Feet Into The Future” by David Govedare is one of the few pieces in the Selig collection created by an artist from the Pacific Northwest. Govedare showed an interest in sculpting from a young age. As a kid, Govedare’s father taught him how to weld, and growing up, the artist spent his free time perusing junk yards hoping to find materials to turn into sculptures. The now acclaimed artist started sculpting full time in 1975, and has signature art installations across Spokane and Coeur D’Alene. Much of his work showcases Native American themes and horses.
