“He” and “She” are a pair of bronze sculptures by Howard Garnitz. Some of his earliest art installations, Martin Selig acquired these pieces in 1979, and they are now located at his property on Fourth and Blanchard in Belltown. Garnitz studied art throughout his career, including at the Chicago Academy of Fine Art and the Chicago Art Institute. Grant’s works can be found in public installations and museums including the New Britain Museum of American Art.
