Pete Parker is a seasoned business executive with over 28 years of experience at Martin Selig Real Estate, where he began as CFO and now serves as President/COO. Prior to joining MSRE in 1995, Pete spent 13 years working for various domestic and foreign Financial Institutions in the Special Loans division, where he specialized in complex workout situations.
Pete earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Washington in 1976. Over the course of his 28 years with MSRE, he has been involved in all aspects of the company, from finance to development and construction; which has seen the company double its overall footprint in the Seattle market during that tenure. Pete is responsible for the overall operations of the company, working with other senior members on both day-to-day and the strategic direction of the company. He is known for his leadership, communication, and mentorship skills.
Pete’s vision for MSRE is to continue the legacy as a best-in-class real estate company in Seattle. He believes Mr. Selig has set a high standard for how a family-operated company can compete with larger institutions in the city and aims to build upon the strong foundation Mr. Selig has created.
In addition to his role at MSRE, Pete previously held an advisory role for a local bank and has been involved in a local chapter advocating for the opening of additional open space/mountain bike trails in Kitsap County.
Outside of the office, Pete is an avid outdoor person who enjoys skiing, hiking, mountain biking, and fly fishing.
