Martin Selig Real Estate Welcomes New Tenants to Ballard

The Polyclinic and Target open their doors for Ballard residents, providing accessibility and ease to the spirited community

We’re big fans of Ballard. The history, the culture and the fusion of traditional and modern are just a few reasons Martin Selig Real Estate jumped at the chance to develop our property at 15th & Market. Our new tenants, the Polyclinic and Target, are big fans, too, and eager to serve the Ballard community.

The name of the game is access and ease. Let your new tenants at 15th & Market bring you the accessibility of single-stop destinations for everyday health and comfort.

While MSRE has long focused on commercial real estate in Seattle’s downtown core, we are elated to join the Ballard community. Ballard has a protracted history, as does MSRE. Ballard’s old-time charm and new-time innovation echoes our own doctrine. Our commercial real estate agents have served Seattle for a combined six decades of business – bringing that intensity and dedication to Ballard is long overdue.

The Polyclinic Opens in Ballard

Seattle is a hub for healthcare and our property at 15th & Market is no exception. The Polyclinic is one of the largest multi-specialty clinics in the Seattle area, and in 2017, celebrated 100 years of service. The Polyclinic originated as a primary care clinic and has only continued to expand its offerings. The clinic at 15th & Market marks its 12th location and the first on Seattle’s west side.

The Ballard clinic is designed with patient comfort and convenience in mind. With 20 on-site clinicians, including primary care and specialty providers, residents of Ballard will be able to frequent the clinic for a variety of needs. A full-service lab, X-ray diagnostic imaging and on-site physical therapy will create a new wave of accessibility to healthcare.

The Polyclinic officially opened its doors on November 4th,  and you can find the full list of services or schedule an appointment on its website.

Target: The Retail Giant Provides Everyday Essentials to Ballard Residents

Target is also leasing commercial real estate space from 15th & Market. Its grand opening was just days after The Polyclinic’s on November 10th, and the small-format store is customized to what Ballard residents shop for most. Enjoy access to style and beauty products, family essentials, and apartment and home needs in one vibrant location.

Target’s selection and competitive pricing are prime examples of accessibility and ease, which will only be heightened by the unique placement next to the Polyclinic. Stroll from your appointment with your allergist to the Target pharmacy stocked with decongestants and antihistamines. Take your little one shopping for the latest baby styles after their annual checkup. Attend your physical therapy appointment while your significant other picks up protein shakes and superfoods – and share one of 256 convenient parking spaces – all under the same roof.

No car? No problem. The property has a plethora of bicycle parking and is just a short walk to public transit. Plus, Target will offer pickup and same-day delivery through Shipt.

The Polyclinic and Target are the newest tenants at 15th & Market, but they are not alone in their decision to take advantage of the neighborhood. Tenants WeWork and Equal Exchange Coffee are open to the public, and Chase Bank is set to open in April 2020.

The Property at 15th & Market

The exterior is esteemed for its architectural salute to Ballard’s culture and origins. The warm, wood-like tones are inspired by the handmade wooden boats that sailed the Sound during Ballard’s maritime trading days. The vibrant yet industrious community is reflected in property’s veneer.

The building’s interior is designed to impress in both architecture and sustainability. Office tenants applaud its state-of-the-art energy efficiency. The five-story, mixed use location includes retail and office space for a combined 230,000 square feet, of which more than 50,000 are still available.

We’ve said it once and we’ll reiterate it now: If your business isn’t considering leasing office space in Ballard, it should be.

Nordic roots have shaped Ballard’s culture for more than a century, and the cultural hub isn’t slowing down. Nearing 50,000 residents, Ballard is the next big stop for business. MSRE’s property at 15th & Market, and the endless potential for future commercial properties, are helping businesses get there.

When it comes to commercial real estate in Washington state, MSRE is at the forefront!
