All Martin Selig Real Estate buildings are managed in-house by our team of maintenance and operations specialists, so maintenance items never keep you from doing business.
We offer a wide variety of programming and perks for our tenants including free fitness classes, seasonal events, and community service opportunities.
At MSRE, our mission is to create spaces that inspire, elevate, and enrich the lives of those who use them. We believe in developing properties that not only meet the highest standards of quality and design but also foster a sense of community and belonging.
Relationships are at the core of our values and business philosophy. With a strong focus on tenant experience, we understand the significance of building long-lasting relationships with those within our properties. Our internal culture, centered on employee retention and satisfaction, reinforces the importance of relationships at every level of our organization. As a family-run company, we prioritize family and relationships, treating everyone we come across like an extension of our own. Our friendly on-site staff ensure a welcoming and supportive environment, fostering connections with tenants and creating a sense of community. From our tenants and employees to our partnerships and community members, we prioritize building relationships based on trust, respect, and open communication.
We believe in the power of community. As a Seattle-based company, we are committed to building a better community, for our community. From developing hubs that bring people together, building public parks within our properties, supporting local organizations, to offering tenant programming and installing public art that inspires, we believe in creating environments where our community can thrive, connect and build meaningful relationships. Our commitment to the community goes beyond our properties. MSRE is an active participant in community improvement projects and organizations such as the Downtown Seattle Association, The Red Cross, Toys for Tots, University of Washington School of Real Estate, 2030 District, and Friends of the Waterfront.
At MSRE, we take our responsibility to the planet seriously, making decisions that are ecologically, socially, and economically sustainable. We are dedicated to bettering the world by reducing our carbon footprint through the implementation of sustainable operating practices and infrastructure across all our properties. Within our portfolio, MSRE has 3 LEED certified buildings, 11 Energy Star certified buildings, and 1 Net Positive building. Overall, MSRE’s 35 properties score in the top 60 of Seattle’s most energy efficient buildings. In addition to energy efficiency, MSRE utilizes compost, green cleaning supplies and eco-friendly paper products in each building. We also reuse and recycle construction materials within our portfolio to minimize waste and protect our planet.
Optimism is at the core of MSRE’s values and guides our approach to every aspect of our business. We believe in the power of positive thinking and its ability to bring about change and create a better future. At MSRE, optimism is not just a value; it is a driving force that shapes our actions and inspires us to push boundaries. We embrace optimism to strengthen our creativity, resilience, and determination. The success of our developments is a testament to MSRE’s optimistic outlook on Seattle’s growth by historically being the first to develop in emerging neighborhoods. By embracing the future with a positive outlook, MSRE continues to advance Seattle’s growth, prosperity, and legacy.
At MSRE, we are committed to being at the forefront of innovation. Shaping the future of the industry and creating exceptional spaces inspiring and empowering those within them. Our creativity shines not only in our portfolio, but also in how we do business. We are natural problem solvers, and work to make the impossible possible. Innovation is behind our pursuit of excellence. It propels us to think differently, explore uncharted territories, and reimagine what is possible in the realm of development. By pushing the boundaries of possibility, MSRE has been able to develop the most sustainable office building of its size in the United States, Seattle’s tallest building, and preserved 2 historical buildings.
