The Future of Development and Design in Commercial Real Estate
As commercial real estate continues to evolve, there has been a rise of multi-use buildings, with a focus on amenities and sustainability.
Mixed-use buildings are developed to serve a variety of needs. From multi-family residences to commercial offices, retail space, and more, they act as a one-stop shop for all urban needs. Our most recent development, 3rd & Lenora is a mixed-use building offering 11 stories of commercial space, 7,00 SF of retail space, and 221 private residences sporting waterfront views and floor-to-ceiling windows. In addition to superior views, these private residences known as The Modern, offer a state-of-the-art fitness center, waterfront observatory and lounge, children’s studio, and more.
Looking to MSRE’s sustainable developments, our most recent development, 400 Westlake, was designed to minimize and offset the environmental footprint of traditional buildings. Located in South Lake Union as an addition to the historic Firestone Building, 400 Westlake offers superior water and Space Needle views, while being located in the heart of Seattle’s tech industry.
400 Westlake is designed to use 75% less energy compared to a typical office building. In addition to this, photo-voltaic fins located on the exterior of the building collect energy during all daylight hours and generate 105% more energy than the building consumes. Scheduled to be complete in the Spring of 2023, 400 Westlake will be the greenest office building of its size in the world.
MSRE offers a variety of multi-use and highly-amenitized buildings with a focus on sustainability. If you’re in need of office space in Seattle, contact our team, or take a look at our available office spaces.
